Art And Antiques At The Metro Show NYC

The second annual NYC METRO Show kicked off in New York City on Thursday, bringing an eclectic mix of ethnographic, tribal and fine art to the Metropolitan Pavilion.

The NYC Metro show is famous for five days of antique splendor, but centers itself far from the antiquated idea the ‘A’ word suggests. Instead, it focuses on Historical Design and the inspiration behind old masters, folk collections and contemporary pieces.

Marc Jacobs At New York Fashion Week

As Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week 2012 comes to a close today, designers and “fashionistas” have spent all week strutting their stuff for the iconic moment in the fashion world and New York alike. One of my favorite designers, Marc Jacobs served up some seriously stunning “stylings” this year in his Marc By Marc Jacobs Fall 2012 collection showcasing a mixture of grunge and military-inspired looks.
