Antique Large Size Spanish Carpet, Country of Origin: Spain, Circa Date: 1920 —  A soft, tan frame surrounds the center of this antique carpet, creating a beautiful degree of grounding that allows the rest of the colors to shine. Gold embroidery lines the interior of this larger frame, creating a smaller border within that breaks lines and boundaries as decorative gold leaves and flowers lay over the larger tan border. Within the taupe field at the Spanish carpet‘s core is a wild collection of leaves and flowers. They dance over the landscape, almost as if they are being carried by a wind down the gorgeous embroidery present throughout the piece.
